A regular weekly yoga class is great but there are times when it is really beneficial to spend more time on a practice. I have been running regular workshops for a few years and they are always popular. They are usually two and a half hours and give us the time to either go through the full Ashtanga Primary Series in detail or do a shorter version and then spend time working on a specific area or pose.
The Autumn and Winter workshops I put on with Chartered Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor Laura Dunstan were a great success and enjoyed by everyone. Laura’s core and stability work is certainly a great addition to our yoga practice and I think we all felt muscles we didn’t know we had afterwards!
