My training and background is in Ashtanga Yoga, but I like to teach a variety of classes that suit all.
These classes are based on the Ashtanga Primary Series, they have a monthly focus of a specific area which we work on to help with our practice and these additions are woven in to the framework of the series as much as possible. We do a straight run through without changes usually during the last week of each month.
These classes are a vinyasa flow based class, they will feature many of the postures you are already familiar if you do an Ashtanga class but in a different format, as well as some different postures and more time on different breathing techniques. They will still have a monthly focus similar to the Ashtanga class.
These are 90 minute classes for those who have been regularly attending class and want to deepen their practice. We get through as much of the Primary Series as we can but leave time to work on areas such as back bends, headstands or just the trickier postures and will sometimes progress to work the first postures of the intermediate series.
The Yoga breakfast is a 1 hour 40 minute class usually based on an Ashtanga Primary Practice with an additional focus section. The breakfast included in the price and includes home made muesli & bakes, together with fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee and fruit juice.
This 90 minute class is split into a 60 minute gentle flow and a 30 minute Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a long guided relaxation, blankets are provided but you may like to bring bolsters or cushions to help you relax
